Salary: $110000 – $230000
VP Credit Administration
located onsite in Manhattan with a foreign bank
Base salary range $110-230k depending on skills and experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in credit administration, risk management, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- CPA/CFA/FRM is preferred
- Demonstrate strong understanding of credit policies, regulatory requirements, and legal aspects of lending.
Responsibilities:
Pre-Disbursement Review
- Review and analyze loan applications and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with lending policies.
- Document Verification: Ensure that all necessary documentation (loan agreements, collateral documentation, borrower identification) is complete and accurate.
- Credit Approval Confirmation: Verify that the loan has received all necessary credit approvals and adheres to internal lending policies.
- Policy Adherence: Confirm compliance with the bank’s internal policies and procedures related to lending and credit risk.
- Collateral Requirements: Confirm that all necessary collateral pledged and appraised if applicable.
Post Lending Monitoring and Collateral Management
- Oversee the valuation of various types of collateral, including real estate, equipment, and financial assets, ensuring accurate and timely assessments.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive collateral database to track collateral values and related metrics.
Credit Risk Governance and Reporting
- Prepare various credit risk reports and present to risk committees and senior management
- Lead ad-hoc analysis based on emerging risk trends or at the request of senior management
Cross-Departmental Collaboration

Collaborate with all risk management, relationship managers, and credit officers to ensure a cohesive approach to credit risk management.
Serve as a point of contact to provide insights on credit risk and facilitating the end-to-end lending process.
