TEMP Credit Assistant Bilingual Portuguese/English

We have a Foreign Bank client located MT NYC seeking a Bilingual Portuguese English Credit Assistant for an open ended Temp assignment that would ideally be Brazilian (or with advanced Portuguese knowledge) The Credit Assistant will report mostly to the Senior Credit Analyst, but eventually to Credit Manager .
Responsible for helping the Credit Manager and Senior Credit Analyst to execute operational activities of the Credit Department. Responsibilities include several tasks related to portfolio management that contribute to ensure the quality of our credit assets.
Monitor and update all controls used by the Credit Department according to their frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.). Such controls comprise the following (but are not limited to): credit operations booked on the day, past due position, expired credit lines, expected operations, requests sent out to Head Office, committed credit lines, credit ratings, among others.
