Senior Regulatory Reporting Accountant HYBRID

One of our Foreign Bank clients located M/T NYC seeking a Snr Associate  well versed in Regulatory HO and General Accounting. This is a Hybrid role (2 days office 3 days remote) that is available due to retirement and internal promotion. 

Responsibilities include liaison with regulatory reporting outsourcing consultants, preparation of some regulatory reports, and financial reporting to Head Office and manage regulatory reporting for Federal Reserve Bank, NYS Department of Financial Services and US Commerce.
Additional focus on accounting for the credit portfolio, Expected Credit Loss (ECL) provision analysis, assist with the Branch Leading indicator, Special Point of Contact (SPOC) for GL First Line account management.

Candidate Profile:
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in an international banking environment, ability to interact and communicate with staff at various levels.
  • Minimum 4-year accredited college degree in Accounting/Finance;
  • Strong Excel skills and solid bank product knowledge.
  • Regulatory Reporting experience,
  • Experience in accounting for loan products, Head Office / MIS reporting, Corporate banking products,
Salary:
Depending on expereince & skill
($140,000 - $145,000)
